We read the campsites were close together, but they were REALLY close together. It seems the surrounding campers did have big families with multiple tents, and we had several practically on top of ours. Our first night was quiet, but we could hear the campers in the tent next to us chatting well into the night. They were talking at a normal volume, but they were so close we could hear their entire conversation. The next night we had another big family move in to the north (which was surprising because we were already pretty surrounded). The campground has quiet hours from 9PM-9AM, but this family was blasting a movie until about 11PM. They were all up at 5AM starting with a blaring car alarm followed by shrieking and over the top noise. So many reviews talk about the strict rules, but they did not seem like they were being enforced while we were there. Also, it would be helpful if they included lights in the noise rules. The campsite behind us had two industrial work lights on until about 11PM each night, and it was like having high beams shining in the tent.We ended up leaving a day early.The campsite itself was ok. It was hot, which we knew going in, but the insane amount of flies made hanging around our site during the day unbearable.The kids had fun in the pool and creek. The bathrooms were clean and showers were nice. Each site (even tent sites) have electrical hookups.Probably better to go back when cooler, but not knowing who will be camping right on top of us will probably present us from trying that. Also, I know it is camping, and it is outdoors, but the fly situation was crazy.

This past summer was our fourth staying at Lo-Lo-Mai Springs Resort. We stayed in a cabin for the third year in a row. There were a few differences from previous years that bear mentioning.1. The cabin was clean from dirt and trash, but there were many more bugs inside when we checked in including some large spiders, beetles, and roaches.2. The mattress on the queen bunk seems in desperate need of either restuffing or replacing, as it was stone hard. Even the children commented that their mattresses were much more comfortable.3. Finally, I have a fragrance allergy, and in previous years this was never an issue, but this year the cabin had a very strong fragrance. We tried opening widows and airing it out, but that didn't work.Other than these few quirks, our stay was as amazing as always. We love the shaded pool, beautiful creek, and peaceful campground.

Rudeness: The individual working in the office consistently displayed rudeness towards guests. Whether it was answering questions, handling reservations, or addressing concerns, their tone and demeanor were far from welcoming. As paying customers, we expected a certain level of professionalism. However, the office staff seemed disinterested and dismissive. Basic courtesy was sorely lacking. The cabins were in poor condition. They were dirty, and we encountered bugs during our stay.

Overall it was a great place to camp mostly because you could camp right by the water. Bathrooms a little dated but they were kept clean and supplied. It's nice having a little store on site for things like ice and ice cream.

Loved loved this place, we brought two RV'S and the kids had a blast in the river, we boated, floated and played in the water. They also had sewer hook up!!! Clean also

We went to visit some friends who were camping at Lo Lo Mai. We thought we would have dinner with them, let our kids play together and then leave and put our kids to bed at our place. But while we were just finishing dinner, at our friend's camp site, a very rude employee walks up to us and tells us that we are trespassing and he will have to call the cops or we will need to pay the day use fee. But, "Day Use" hours were over at 6pm, so we might just have to pay for the overnight fee. And, even if we left right then we would still have to pay the "Day Use" fee. Come to find out that the "Day Use" fee was $15 per adult and $5 per child plus taxes and of course an additional charge if you use a credit card. Now, I’m not opposed to paying a day use fee, but we paid over $45 for us to have dinner with our friends, at their camp site, and be there for 2.5 hours and not use any of their facilities. This is an absolutely absurd way to run a campground! They have certainly lost any chance that we would ever camp there. In addition, that employees’ threats and the $45 for “Day Use” has earned them a terrible review on every site I can find and terrible reviews from our friends as well.*** Stay away from this poorly managed and staffed camp ground. Don't expect kindness, understanding or quality service.In response to the Owner Reply –Your employee did, in fact, threaten to call the cops and trespass us if I didn't come and pay right then – so…. there’s that – you may want to have a talk with him.I have camped nearly all my life at both federal, state, city and private lands. I have not encountered any that don’t have signs posted for day use fees or have an employee stationed at the entrance and signage noting there are day-use fees. While there may be a sign that says all vehicles must stop, there is no sign indicating “No Visitors,” or “All Visitors Must Pay,” or “Closed to Public” or “Day Use Fees Apply,” no signage posted for day use rates and no gate or employee at the entrance to the private camp. While I did see your sign, it was not clear that it applied to me, as I was not there to camp or use any of the Lo Lo Mai facilities. - You may want to invest in clear and specific signage.My Family and I were not sneaking in! We didn’t hop the fence, open a locked gate, or come under the cover of darkness. We didn’t come to see the camp or use any of it’s facilities, we came to eat with our friends, which we could have easily done elsewhere. Had we known, about the threat we were to receive and the exorbitant cost of the “Day use fee” we would have gone elsewhere.As I said, in my original review, I have no problem paying day use fees. I am an honest person which is why, when I found out, even after I had been threatened, that there was a day use fee, I paid it. What I do have a problem with is people threatening me and my family and what I think, is an outrageous cost for a day use. (I get it – It’s private property and you can charge what you want – you just can’t expect me to like it or think it’s reasonable). After being threatened, when the employee found out that we were only there to eat with our friends, there was no consideration, no understanding, no working with us. Your employee, the one that threatened us, repeatedly stated to me and to the two other employees he spoke with that we "had to be charged." This is poor customer service. But, you run your business the way you want. You and your camp had an opportunity to gain a lifelong customer, get positive reviews and positive word of mouth, possibly earning you more customers. Instead, we were threatened and treated poorly, earning you the loss of not just us as customers but our friends as well. In addition, now hundreds, maybe thousands will read this review planting a seed of doubt as to whether they want to risk the poor customer service.

Straight up I wouldn’t recommend this resort to no body. Their service one of the worst I have ever seen. There is a guy at the reception he is super rude and has a temper with an attitude. There is so much around with a better customer service. The place is nice to be honest, but the problem is with the guy at the front desk.

Our family had such a good time at Lolomai! Everything was just as advertised. We needed this getaway and enjoyed the peaceful feel of the campground and surrounding areas. We had a small cabin and enjoyed the rugged feel. The kids can't wait to go back! We are already planning our next visit.

People here were really cool. Atmosphere is great. But they claim to have wifi. It's not very good. And no service in the park can be frustrating when planning the day.

Lo Lo Mai Springs is a gem of a private campground. Quiet, clean bathrooms and showers, pool, general store, hookups, and PRIVATE OAK CREEK FRONTAGE- all in a kid friendly package near Sedona and a stumble downstream from the wineries. Cabins, RV, and tents. Recommend! Not a luxury spot however.

My husband and I are tent campers, so I can only speak from that perspective, but we loved this campground! We had a creekside spot and everyone was friendly. The restroom facilities and numerous other amenities felt very fancy since we’re typically back country campers 😂 I guess the experience depends on what you make it and how you typically camp, but I personally feel like it was very much an outdoor resort!

Love Lo-Lo-Mai Springs. This was our 4 or 5th time staying there. It is a great place to get away and unwind but still be within a quick drive to Sedona. There are great little wineries along the road as well.This review is for the Standard size cabin as it was our first time in it. Cozy is the greatest word for this cabin. What you see is what you get and that was enough for us. We used it as a base of operations as we went of an explore during the day and then came back for dinner. Cabin was equipped with everything you needed to make a couple night stay work it.Will visit again for sure.** FYI, you can do some really good star watching from here as there is very little light pollution to get in the way.

It's so nice to see youngsters at play,enjoying simple things, nature, and innocent fun. Definitely a family campground. We saw multiple group meetups with everyone around the campfire having a good old time. The only downside for us is the lack of consistent cell phone and wifi coverage. We like to plan our daily activities the night before using the Internet. No big deal, we just headed into Sedona and worked from there

When we arrived we were astonished to see the disrepair in this RV Park, especially since we paid over $100/night. We love to rough it, but when we want to have a nicer accommodation we accept paying a higher price for it. This was the higher price without any of the niceties.I could start with the extremely cracked concrete pad, the no privacy between sites, the lack of wifi (they advertise wifi but when you get there they ask you don’t use it to stream- only to check emails, etc- We couldn’t even do that). The power pedestal was extremely loose and leaning backwards, the cover plate for the breakers was only connected on one side, and the water pressure was very low. I could continue with when we told them we may have a couple come up to stay for one night with us, we would be charged $25 per person. I’m ok with $10-$15 for the extra car, but per person?The main factor in giving this one star is that the night we arrived we were discussing the fact that it looks like they don’t take care of the trees, and the next morning the tree right behind us fell on a very nice motor home and totaled it (slide torn away, roof dented in, other slides and toppers collapsed, a hole in the side). The first worker to see it drove up in his cart F-bombing to no end, the second worker said it’s the second worst case he’s ever seen 😳😳.We went to the office and explained we did not feel safe staying in the park. The man said he could move us but not refund us. I can tell you that there are plenty of at risk for falling trees in that campground, it wasn’t just the one by us. There was a tree literally being held up by a cut off telephone pole. The neglect in the park is apparent and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Our neighbor said he’s been going for 30 years (dad bought a membership back in the day when they sold memberships) and he said he hasn’t seen a penny put into the place in 10 years .

My post is related to the customer service only since we never actually were able to stay there, and we choose to never stay there in the future. I experienced a series of unfortunate accidents and situations in 2023 that required me to have three (3) surgeries with subsequent rehabilitation. My initial surgery caused my wife and I to have to reschedule our stay, which had been paid for. The rescheduling was limited to a very short window of dates in the off season. We again had to reschedule after another surgery and rehab, which was met with uncertainty if we would be able to reschedule again, “because you’ve already requested this to be rescheduled once before.” I don’t understand the reluctance a business would have in rescheduling an already paid for stay, or making an issue about the number of times needing to be rescheduled. I’m the customer, and I had a need on a few occasions and I don’t, and didn’t appreciate the arrogance. My wife and I ultimately were informed that management had accepted our request to reschedule but that this would be the last time they would permit it. Ultimately, the date came for our weekend stay and due to the poor policies, arrogance and attitude I experienced, my wife and I decided to “eat” the money we had already paid and chose not to stay. We enjoy camping in our great state with our friends, family and RV group, but we will caution anyone who asks about Lo-Lo-Mai.
