What you’ll see

A lake park by Table Rock Dam

Table Rock State Park sits on the shore of Table Rock Lake just south of the dam, with two campgrounds, a full-service marina, picnic areas and trails into the White River Hills.

Table Rock Lakeshore Trail

This paved, easy trail runs along the lake from the park to the Dewey Short Visitor Center by the dam, about 2.5 miles one way on the park map. It’s open to walkers and cyclists, and it’s the easiest way to see the lake and the dam without a boat.

RV tip: the White River Valley trails close after rain, so check with the park office before you lace up for the rough loops.

Why go

Branson’s lake park, without an entrance fee

Missouri State Parks runs the park, and like other Missouri state parks there’s no fee to drive in. Much of the White River Valley Trail uses land from the late-1950s construction of Table Rock Dam.

For RVers it doubles as a place to stay. The two campgrounds have basic, electric and full-hookup sites, with 2026 full-hookup rates from $33 a night in season, and 22 sites in Campground 2 got new 50-amp hookups in 2025.

Winter is quieter. Bald eagles, loons and ospreys are often seen on the lake in the colder months, and the grounds stay open year-round from 6 am to 10 pm.
