On the menu

Prime steaks, seafood and big sides

The Ocala menu centers on USDA Prime steaks, cold-water lobster tails and fresh seafood, with appetizers like crab cakes and tuna tartare. Steaks come à la carte, so plan to add sides, sauces or a lobster tail.

Prime Delmonico

A 16 oz USDA Prime ribeye, $68 on the October 2026 Ocala menu. “Delmonico” is one of the topics Tripadvisor reviewers bring up most.

RV tip: Ocala RV Camp Resort is about 11 minutes away. Book a 5 pm table and you’ll be back at camp before dark most of the year.

Also worth ordering

  • Lobster Escargot$24, six chunks of lobster tail baked in herbed garlic butter with asiago, a house twist on the classic.
  • Filet Mignon$70, a full-cut 11 oz filet; the 7 oz petite filet ($54) suits smaller appetites.
  • Prime Kansas City Strip$96, a 20 oz USDA Prime strip dry-aged 45 days, served only at the Ocala location.
  • Jalapeño Au Gratin Potatoes$15, sliced potatoes baked in creamy cheddar with a little jalapeño heat; most sides are big enough to share.

Why go

Ocala’s special-occasion steakhouse

Mark’s Prime has served dinner on Ocala’s historic downtown square since 2002. It is the kind of place locals pick for anniversaries and birthdays, with a darker, romantic dining room and a busy bar.

The draw is USDA Prime beef, from the 16 oz Delmonico to a 45-day dry-aged Kansas City strip, plus lobster tails, sea bass and scallops. Diners on OpenTable often praise attentive servers and well-cooked steaks.

It is a splurge: steaks run about $46–$96 before sides. For a night off from the campground grill, though, it is one of the most polished dinners in Marion County.

  • Full bar, wine list and private dining rooms

For RVers

Taking the rig to Mark’s Prime

The practical stuff we wished someone had told us before we pulled in.

Leave the rig at the park

Drive in with your tow vehicle or car. Downtown parking is street meters and city lots, and nothing suggests room for an RV.

Book ahead for weekends

Reserve on OpenTable or call (352) 402-0097. OpenTable suggests coming around 5 pm for a calmer meal and a better shot at bar seats.

Pack something nicer

OpenTable lists the dress code as business casual, so bring a collared shirt or dress instead of campground shorts.

Bringing the dog?

The visitor bureau says nine outdoor tables welcome leashed dogs and staff can bring water. Call to confirm a patio table.
