Why go

Farm-stand roots, giant hotcakes

Todd and Shelly Mayer spent 18 years hauling produce as over-the-road truckers. After they left the road, they opened a produce stand that grew into a restaurant in Belleview in 2014 because customers kept asking for one.

In May 2024 they moved north into a bigger space in Ocala’s Boyd Market Center. The menu came with them: plate-sized hotcakes in 16 flavors, gyros, burgers and fried green tomato BLTs, with breakfast served all day.

A small market corner still sells local tomatoes, jams, jellies and raw honey. That makes it an easy stop to restock the RV pantry on the way back from breakfast.

For RVers

Taking the rig to Todd and Shelly’s

The practical stuff we wished someone had told us before we pulled in.

Come early, eat big

It closes mid-afternoon, so plan breakfast or lunch. Reviewers say portions are large, so consider sharing a hotcake.

Bring the car, not the rig

It is in a shopping plaza, and no source mentions RV parking. Drive in with your tow vehicle.

Shop the market corner

Pick up local tomatoes, jams, jellies or raw honey for the campsite.

Check hours before you go

Listings disagree on opening time (7 or 8 am) and on Sunday close, so call (352) 693-5877 first.
