Why go

Lunch in a potters’ house by the river

The café sits in the 1954 home of potters Douglas and Ruth Ferguson, who founded Pigeon Forge Pottery in the late 1940s. The Old Mill family reopened it as the Pottery House Café in 2004, per the Old Mill.

It has 4.7 stars from more than 7,900 Google reviews and 4.7 on Tripadvisor (#9 of 175 in town). Google’s review summary highlights the fresh-baked sourdough bread, generous portions and the outdoor seating.

It shares Old Mill Square with The Old Mill Restaurant, so it is a lighter alternative if the restaurant across the street has a long wait.
