The park report card
We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores tell a clear story: RVers love the riverside setting, the clean bathhouse and the location, and the usual gripes are snug sites by the river and peak-season prices.

Riverside sites need some leveling. They sit on the natural riverbank, so bring blocks. Early-departure refunds are given only for flood evacuations.

Plan your stay

Our take: a friendly, family-run campground on the Little Pigeon River with a heated pool, a modern bathhouse and the trolley at the gate, so you can park the rig and forget it. Riverside sites are snug and need leveling, and October costs the most, so book early and pick your site type by length.

Camp Riverslanding is a family-owned campground on the Little Pigeon River at the south end of Pigeon Forge. The Collier family has run it since 1972 on land that was once Dr. Robert Broady’s dairy farm, and it suits RVers who want a classic campground feel within trolley distance of the Parkway.
Best for
- Families: a heated pool and splash pad, a playground, a game room and events such as the Halloween weekend.
- Riverside campers: Riverside sites sit right on the bank of the Little Pigeon River, with tubes and fishing gear on site.
- Park-and-forget visitors: Pigeon Forge trolley stops are at the campground entrances, so the truck can stay parked.
- Longer rigs: Signature sites are fully concreted and run up to about 65 ft.
Consider this
- Riverside sites are 25–30 ft wide and need some leveling, and RVers say sites near the river are snug.
- It’s in town, not in the woods: expect Parkway noise and hotels across the river.
- Parking is tight: one or two vehicles per site and no overflow lot.
- No tents, no clotheslines or hammocks tied to trees, and quiet hours run 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.
