What campers say
The park report card
We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores are worth reading together: campers love the hosts, the clean showers and the redwood setting, while close sites, US-101 noise, 30-amp-only power and muddy grass sites come up.

Before you book
Plan your stay
Everything that decides whether Mystic Forest fits your rig, your dates and your budget, in one place.
Our take: a warm, well-kept family park with the best reviews in the area, right in the redwoods near Klamath. It’s 30 amp only on grass and dirt sites, so big rigs should book a premium site.

Mystic Forest has been a campground since 1977; Maya and Patrick took over in 2023. Its 30 RV sites have full hookups with 30-amp power and Starlink Wi-Fi, on grass and dirt under the redwoods, alongside tent sites, cabins and rental RVs.
Best for
- Families: mini golf, a playground, a game room and a forest trail.
- Redwood trips: Trees of Mystery is 10 minutes away.
- Remote workers: Starlink Wi-Fi at every RV site.
- Dog owners: a fenced dog park since 2024.
Consider this
- Power is 30 amp only; there’s no 50 amp.
- Sites are close together, and US-101 traffic is audible.
- Grass and dirt sites can be muddy in rain.
- Hookups at sites 15–21 are on the left side, so bring a longer cord or hose.
