What campers say
The park report card
We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores are worth reading together: campers like the friendly family staff, the quiet wooded sites and the clean grounds, while tight turns for big rigs, road noise, patchy Wi-Fi and many long-term residents come up too.

Our take: a friendly, old-school family park with full hookups, cable TV and fair prices, minutes from town. It’s home to many long-term residents, and big rigs should ask for a premium pull-thru.

Village Camper Inn has been run by the same family since the early 1970s, on 22 wooded acres at the edge of town. Most sites are full-hookup back-ins with concrete patios and free cable TV; many are rented by long-term residents, so overnight guests get a quieter, settled feel.
Best for
- Travelers who want full hookups and cable TV close to town.
- Budget-minded RVers: sites run $57–65 a night.
- Pickleball and horseshoe players.
- Base-campers for the redwoods, the harbor and the beaches.
Consider this
- Tight turns and close sites can challenge big rigs, campers say.
- Road noise reaches some sites from Parkway Drive and US-101.
- Wi-Fi can be patchy, and trees block satellite TV.
- Many sites are long-term; restrooms are dated.
