What guests say
The resort report card
We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores are worth reading together: guests like the location by Jedediah Smith and the river, the staff, the laundry and the dog park, while highway noise, open sites with little shade and a growing mix of tiny homes and long-term residents pull scores down.

- Redwood hikers: Stout Grove and Jedediah Smith are minutes away.
- Sun seekers: guests say it’s sunnier than the foggy coast.

Consider this
- US-199 and gas-station noise reach some sites.
- Open sites have little shade, and some back-ins are narrow or sloped.
- Wi-Fi and Verizon signal are weak, guests report.
- 2026 reviewers say tiny homes and long-term residents now share the park.
