What guests say
The park report card
We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores tell a clear story: RVers rave about the lazy river, the big level pads and the friendly staff, and the gripes mention highway noise and spotty Wi-Fi. Campendium’s lone 1-star review dates from late 2023, mid-renovation.

Pick the right site type. Palapas come with premium and signature sites, and pull-thrus are limited, so book early if you’d rather not back in.
Bring a sewer seal. Texas law requires a sewer hose seal, and the resort also requires a hose support and a proper power cord.

Plan your stay

Our take: a renovated resort with a pool and lazy river, palapa sites and big concrete pads at mid-range prices, a short drive from Aransas Pass, Rockport and the Port Aransas ferry. It sits beside a freeway and the Wi-Fi is patchy, so ask for a site away from the road and bring a hotspot.

Seagrass RV Resort, formerly Paradise Lagoons, is a large RV resort on State Highway 188 at the north edge of Aransas Pass, renovated over the last two years as an Upward Communities development with a resort pool, a lazy river and palapa sites; some lots are sold to owners. It suits RVers who want resort amenities at mid-range prices, from a weekend to a whole winter.
Best for
- Pool lovers: a resort-style pool and lazy river are the centerpiece, and RVers who stayed long-term report the lazy river is heated.
- Big rigs: concrete back-ins and pull-thrus, with palapa sites for shade.
- Winter stays: monthly rates start at $599, with pickleball, a clubhouse and a fishing pond on site.
- Anglers: a catch-and-release pond on site, with Redfish Bay, Conn Brown Harbor and the Port Aransas jetties a short drive away.
Consider this
- It sits beside the SH-35 freeway, and one reviewer called it loud.
- Wi-Fi is free, but guests describe it as spotty; bring a backup.
- Prices are dynamic, and early departures aren’t refunded.
- Some lots are privately owned, so it’s part RV park, part community.
