Why go

A Sedona breakfast landmark

The Coffee Pot traces its roots to the 1950s and is named for Coffee Pot Rock, the formation above West Sedona. It has moved three times; its current building once housed Dudes, a nightclub owned by actress Jane Russell.

It is built for volume: big plates, quick tables and prices low for Sedona. Ratings are 4.5 on Google and 4.3 on Tripadvisor; Yelp is lower at 3.9, and the restaurant calls itself the town’s “Best Overall Bargain.”

The patio, with its redwood waterfall, is the seat to ask for. Rancho Sedona is about 7 minutes away by car.

Why it made our list

  • 101 omelettes on the menu
  • Open daily at 6 am
  • Some of the lowest prices among Sedona’s top-rated restaurants
  • Named for Coffee Pot Rock, a short walk away
  • About 7 minutes from Rancho Sedona RV Park

Getting to the Coffee Pot in the tow vehicle

The practical stuff we wished someone had told us before we pulled in.

Use the restaurant’s own lot

The Coffee Pot has its own lot on the north side of SR-89A. It fills on busy mornings, so arrive early in the tow vehicle rather than the rig.

No reservations

Seating is first-come, first-served. Waits are usually short because tables turn quickly.

Allergies

The restaurant says it does not have an allergen-free kitchen, so ask your server if you have a food allergy.

See Coffee Pot Rock

The rock is just north of the restaurant. The Soldier Pass area trails nearby give you closer views after breakfast.
