Why go

A chef’s cantina outside the park gates

Centrico opened in spring 2024 on the west end of Downtown Disney, in the former Catal and Uva Bar space. It’s run by Chef Carlos Gaytán, the first Mexican-born chef to earn a Michelin star, for his Chicago restaurant.

It has 4.5 stars from more than 2,500 Yelp reviews and 4.7 on Tripadvisor; Google is cooler at 4.0. Diners love the open-air courtyard and the tacos; the main downside is that every seat is outdoors.

Downtown Disney is outside the theme parks, so no ticket is needed. For RVers it’s about 5 minutes from Anaheim Harbor RV Park.

The practical stuff we wished someone had told us before we pulled in.

Get your parking validated

The Simba lot charges $10 for the first hour. Downtown Disney table-service restaurants can validate up to 5 more hours; ask your server.

Dress for the weather

All the seating is outdoors in the courtyard, so bring a layer on cool evenings and check the forecast for rain.
