Why go

Gulf oysters and Georgian roots in West Downtown

Pearl & Horn comes from Chef George Lazi and Luba Lazi, who also run George Bistro + Bar. The name nods to the oyster program (“pearl”) and to the Georgian kantsi drinking horn (“horn”) from the chef’s homeland.

It has 4.7 stars on both Google (1,000+ reviews) and Yelp, where it sits near the top of Pensacola’s restaurant list. Reviewers single out the lobster roll, the snapper collar, the bar seats and the broiled oysters.

It’s a sit-down dinner with smart-casual dress and a 2-hour table, so plan it as your night out from Tanglewood Gardens, about 16 minutes away.
