The Stevie Lew’s story

Family barbecue at the front of an RV park

The late Stevie Lew Meinhausen built the place after years running a coffeehouse business in Arizona, and his eldest son, Matt, now runs the pit, The Bend Magazine reports. The family also runs Seaport Village RV Park, and the restaurant sits at the front of it.

The original homemade smoker has given way to an oak-only, wood-fired rotisserie pit. Coffee is roasted on site, and the online shop sells bags of house blends with names like Rockport Strong.
