We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores are worth reading together: guests praise the spotless grounds, level pads and friendly owners, while night trains, the lack of restrooms and the neighborhood come up most often.

Our take: a spotless, quiet little park with level concrete pads, full hookups with cable and a pool, at a fair price. There are no restrooms or showers, trains pass at night, and GPS can lead you to the wrong gate, so come self-contained and follow the park’s directions.

Green Acres is a small, veteran-owned RV park on Westside Road in south-west Redding. It takes nightly, weekly and monthly guests, and most reviewers come back for how clean and quiet it is compared with the parks along I-5.
Best for
- RVers who want a quieter stay away from the I-5 corridor, a few minutes from downtown.
- Self-contained rigs that only need full hookups, cable and Wi-Fi.
- Dog owners: there’s a shaded, fenced dog park and room to walk.
- Longer stays: weekly from $325 and monthly from $700 plus electric.
Consider this
- There are no restrooms or showers, so you need your own.
- Trains pass nearby at night, and some reviewers didn’t love the neighborhood.
- Most sites are back-ins; there are only three pull-thrus.
- Water pressure runs high (about 85 psi), so bring a regulator.
