What guests say

The park report card

We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores are worth reading together: guests love the train, the clean bathhouses and the location, while tight sites, highway and train noise and strict rules come up most.

Before you book

Plan your stay

Everything that decides whether United Campground fits your rig, your dates and your budget, in one place.

Our take: a classic, well-kept campground with train views, a pool and a trolley to downtown, about as close to town as Durango RV parks get. Sites are tight, the deposit isn’t refundable, the rules are strict and noise from the road and the train comes up often, so it suits RVers who want location over space.
