The fountain show

In Town Square, fountains shoot water and bursts of fire in time with music and lights. Shows start at noon daily, weather permitting, and they’re free; the evening shows, after dark, are the ones to see. Find a spot along the boardwalk railing a few minutes before the show begins.

RV tip: shows can be cancelled for weather, maintenance or concerts, so if one is skipped, browse the shops and catch the next.

Why go

Branson’s best free evening

Branson Landing lines Lake Taneycomo next to Historic Downtown Branson, with shops, restaurants and a hotel along the water. The fountain show in Town Square is its signature, and it costs nothing to watch.

For RVers it’s unusually easy. The city’s Branson Lakeside RV Park is next door, about 2 minutes away, and the free downtown trolley stops at the campground, so you can leave the rig parked and skip the parking search.

It’s also a good bad-weather plan. Stores stay open year-round, Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm, and the holiday season brings a giant animated tree to Town Square.
