Book a two-hour soak
Each ticket is good for one two-hour session. In winter there are four a day, starting at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm, with a 15-minute break between. Weekend, afternoon and evening sessions usually sell out, so book ahead; walk-ins are welcome only if there’s room. You can book back-to-back sessions to stay longer.
RV tip: RVs, trailers, boats and campers must park in the overflow lot rather than the main lot. A tow car makes the visit much easier.

Why go
Why Astoria belongs on your Jackson trip
Astoria was a family-run hot springs and pool for generations before it closed in the 1990s. A nonprofit, the Astoria Park Conservancy, reopened the hot springs in 2020 on a park of nearly 100 acres along the river, and all ticket money supports the park.
It’s about 20 minutes south of Jackson: past Hoback Junction on US-89, then across the red bridge over the Snake River. The park says RVs, trailers and campers must use its overflow lot. Local news reported weight and height limits on the bridge in 2023 (about 10,000 pounds and 8 feet 2 inches), so follow the posted signs and come in the tow car.
It’s open all year, closed Wednesdays for cleaning. Winter hours are now in effect, 9 am to 4:45 pm. Snake River Cabins & RV Village is only about 8 minutes away.

For RVers
Visiting Astoria with an RV
The practical stuff we wished someone had told us before we pulled in.
Use the overflow lot
The park says RVs, all trailers, boats and campers must park in its overflow lot. If the main lot is full, cars use the overflow lot too, about a 4-minute walk away.
Mind the red bridge
You reach the park over a narrow historic bridge. Local news reported limits of about 10,000 pounds and 8 feet 2 inches in 2023, and over-height trucks have hit it. Follow the signs.
Book ahead
Weekend, afternoon and evening sessions usually sell out. Reserve online or call (307) 201-5925; walk-ins are taken only when there’s room.
Dogs stay in the car
Dogs aren’t allowed at Astoria. If one is riding along, it can’t get out of the vehicle until you’re back on the highway side of the bridge.
