What guests say
The resort report card
We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores are worth reading together: RVers like the central location and the clean pool, laundry and clubhouse, and mark it down hard for train and freeway noise, tight worn sites and uneven management.

Expect train and freeway noise. The Amtrak and Coaster line runs about 100 yards away around the clock, with I-5 alongside; it’s reviewers’ top complaint.
Arrive during office hours. The office is open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Sunday; one reviewer found the gate locked after 5 with no code.

What we could confirm about rates, sites and rules, and what you’ll need to ask the office.
Our take: a central, full-hookup base for Mission Bay and the beaches with a decent pool, spa and clubhouse, but not a quiet or polished one. Trains and I-5 run alongside, sites are tight and worn, many guests are long-term, and reviews of management are mixed, so read recent reviews and get your rate and terms in writing.

Santa Fe Park RV Resort is a private RV park owned by American Assets Trust, a San Diego real estate company. It markets stays of a week, a month or longer, and reviewers describe many long-term residents, so treat it as a monthly-led park and confirm nightly stays by phone.
Best for
- Location: Mission Bay, Pacific Beach, SeaWorld and Old Town are all within about 4 miles.
- Longer stays: the park markets weekly and monthly stays and has a community kitchen and fitness center.
- Pool fans: the heated pool and spa are open year-round, and reviewers call them clean.
- Hikers: the Rose Canyon open space trails start next door.
Consider this
- Noise (2.5) and site quality (2.4) are Campendium’s lowest scores; trains pass day and night.
- Sites are tight and worn; slides and awnings may not fully extend, and trees can block satellite.
- Many long-term residents, and reviewers report transient pet sites placed at the back near them.
- Mixed reports on management: no refunds for early departure, thefts and slow follow-up.
