What to order
The menu is creative pub food: burgers, hearty sandwiches, salads, soups and a few house specials that have been on the board for years, with a rotating list of beer on tap.

A house favorite
Mediterranean lamb burger
A lamb patty with goat cheese and a pesto mayo, and the dish reviewers mention most. Prices aren’t posted online, so check the menu.
Pro tip: Order a side of the house corn pasta salad, a local favorite. The gumbo is very spicy, so ask your server how hot it’s running that day.

The Moon Time story
A neighborhood pub since 1996
Spokane friends John Grollmus and Brad Fosseen opened Moon Time on East Sherman Avenue in 1996, modeled on Seattle’s 74th Street Ale House. The name comes from a Widespread Panic song.
It grew into a small family of Inland Northwest pubs, including the Elk Public House in Spokane and the Porch in Hayden Lake. Moon Time celebrated its 30th anniversary in June 2026.
Why it made our list
