The park report card

We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores tell a clear story: RVers love how clean, level and well run it is, and the few complaints are about the lack of a pool and the price in peak season.

Before you book

Plan your stay

Everything that decides whether Geronimo fits your rig, your dates and your budget, in one place.

Our take: a small, immaculate, well-run park with level concrete sites, a short walk from one of the prettiest beaches on the Gulf and priced below the beachfront resorts. There’s no pool, playground or ocean view, and it books up for March and summer, so reserve early and plan on the beach and the shuttle for your fun.

Geronimo RV Park is a small, family-run transient RV park in Miramar Beach, just over the Walton County line from Destin. It’s built for RVers who want a clean, quiet base near the beach rather than a resort with a pool and activities.

Best for

  • Beach lovers: the sand is two blocks away, and the free golf-cart shuttle runs to three public accesses within a mile.
  • Big rigs: every site has a concrete pad and 50 amp, and the park welcomes all licensed manufactured RVs.
  • Dog owners: up to three dogs per site, no breed limits, and a 2.5-acre field to run in.
  • Snowbirds: winter is the cheapest season, with monthly stays from $1,500 November to January.

Consider this

  • No pool, playground or rec room; the beach is the activity.
  • It’s a transient park: monthly stays are allowed, but not six months or longer.
  • Peak rates ($130–$135) plus 12% tax and a 5% booking fee add up quickly.
  • Only $50 of the $100 deposit comes back, and only if you cancel by phone more than a week out.
