Before you book
Plan your stay
Fees, rules and what to ask before you reserve a state park site.
Our take: the best-located public campground in Destin: big full-hookup sites, a spotless bathhouse and a protected beach a short walk away, for about half what the private resorts charge. Sites sell out up to 11 months ahead and US-98 is noisy on some sites, so book early and pick your site carefully.
