The resort report card
We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores tell a clear story: RVers love the bayfront sites, the spotless bathhouses, the pool and the staff, and the gripes are about the price, wind, spotty Wi-Fi and a sulfur smell at some tides.

Plan your stay
Everything that decides whether Bay Point Landing fits your rig, your dates and your budget, in one place.
Our take: one of the most polished RV resorts on the coast, with bayfront sites, heated private bathhouses, a saltwater pool and the Cape Arago parks ten minutes away. It costs more than most, the wind can howl and some bay sites smell at low tide, so ask for a site that suits you and check the rig-age rule.

Bay Point Landing is a modern RV resort on 103 acres along Coos Bay, with about 160 RV sites plus Airstream and cabin rentals. Streamside RV Resorts & Campgrounds bought it in September 2026 and kept the name and booking site. It suits RVers who want resort comforts close to the Cape Arago parks, Charleston’s seafood and the dunes.
Best for
- Comfort seekers: heated private bathhouses, an indoor saltwater pool and a fitness center.
- Bay views: waterview sites look across Coos Bay, with a beach for clamming at low tide.
- Big rigs: pull-thru, back-in and motorcoach sites with 50 amp.
- Dog owners: up to three dogs per RV site, a dog wash and off-leash time on the beach.
Consider this
- It’s one of the pricier parks on the coast, and the booking adds a 2% fee.
- RVs must be 10 years old or newer and RVIA certified, unless the manager approves.
- Some bayfront sites pick up a sulfur smell at certain tides, and the bay can be windy.
- No tents, pop-ups or detached truck campers.
