Start with breakfast

Breakfast is what fills the place; Fodor’s notes it fills up quickly in the morning. Benedicts and a country breakfast are two of the things Juicy’s itself highlights, and eggs Benedict is one of the dishes Tripadvisor reviewers mention most.

RV tip: beat the breakfast crowd by arriving close to the 7 am opening, when the free lot is easiest to get into.

Why go

A Havasu institution for a reason

Juicy’s has been feeding Lake Havasu City for decades. A 2008 Today’s News-Herald profile traced it back to a Bullhead City taco stand that moved to Havasu as Havasu-Taco, and the visitor bureau now says it has operated for more than 45 years.

Tripadvisor ranks it #1 of 151 restaurants in town from more than 1,000 reviews, and Google gives it 4.5 from more than 3,000. Reviewers praise friendly servers, big portions and the owner stopping by tables; some say prices keep creeping up.

For RVers it is a practical stop: open every day from 7 am, with free off-street parking listed on Tripadvisor, and about 6 minutes from the Island RV parks.

For RVers

Taking the rig to Juicy’s

The practical stuff we wished someone had told us before we pulled in.

Use the free lot or the street

Tripadvisor lists free off-street parking plus street parking. We found no posted RV or trailer rules, so the tow vehicle is the easiest way in.

Beat the breakfast rush

Fodor’s says it fills up quickly at breakfast. Arrive near the 7 am opening, or come mid-afternoon for a late lunch.

Call ahead for a group

Sources disagree on whether Juicy’s takes reservations, so call (928) 855-8429 if you are bringing a group.

Leave the dog at camp

We found no pet policy and no confirmed dog-friendly patio, so plan on leaving pets at the RV. Arizona’s heat makes a parked car unsafe for them most of the year.
