Why go

Seafood with a front-row view of the bay

The Fish Market started in Palo Alto in 1976, and its owners call the Harbor Drive restaurant the brand’s flagship on San Diego Bay. The Brigantine took over the brand and this lease in 2025.

It has 4.4 stars from more than 8,200 Google reviews; Tripadvisor (4.3) and Yelp (3.7) are cooler. Google’s review topics highlight the chowder, cioppino and halibut, and the views of the bay.

It sits next to the USS Midway Museum, so it pairs well with a day on the carrier. A rebuild of the building is proposed for 2028, so check for changes before you go.
