Plan your stay

Everything that decides whether Holiday Palms fits your rig, your dates and your budget, in one place.

Our take: the closest thing to a full resort in central Quartzsite, with a heated pool, lighted pickleball and breakfast in the rec hall. Expect peak-season prices from November to April, extra charges for electric on longer stays, and some road noise.

Holiday Palms is a large resort on West Main Street, a few blocks from I-10 Exit 17, with 244 full-hookup sites on palm-lined streets. It has more to do on site than most Quartzsite parks: a heated pool and hot tub, two lighted pickleball courts, a fenced dog run, an RV and car wash, and a rec hall that serves breakfast six days a week. The trade-offs are peak-season pricing, electric and tax on top, and noise from the interstate and Main Street.

Best for

  • Resort lovers: a heated pool, a hot tub and lighted pickleball courts are rare in Quartzsite.
  • Snowbirds: 3-, 5- and 6-month packages from $1,900 make a long winter simpler to budget.
  • Off-roaders: the resort advertises OHV access toward the desert trails around town.
  • Late arrivals: an after-hours check-in box means you don’t have to beat the office.

Consider this

  • Campendium reviewers rate noise just 3.4 out of 5; I-10 and Main Street are close.
  • Electric and tax are added to the published rates.
  • The limit is two pets per site.
  • In summer the office keeps short hours, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekdays.

Good to know before you pull in

Five things that change your booking

Ask these on the phone before you reserve.

  • What will electric add? Monthly and seasonal rates don’t include power, so ask for a typical bill.
  • Do you need 50 amp? The resort has 20, 30 and 50-amp sites, so request the one you need.
  • Traveling with more than two pets? The posted limit is two.
  • How light a sleeper are you? Ask for a site away from Main Street and the interstate.
  • Arriving late? Ask how the after-hours check-in box works for your dates.
