What guests say

The resort report card

We don’t recycle other sites’ reviews, but the published scores are worth reading together. Many reviewers are owners or long-stay renters. They praise the quiet, immaculate grounds, the concrete pads, the pools and the activities, while the distance from the lake, the wind, strict rules and long winter minimums come up as drawbacks.

Plan your stay

Everything that decides whether a Havasu RV Resort lot fits your rig, your season and your budget, in one place.

Our take: a polished, owner-run RV community for a month or a season, with two pools, a chip-and-putt and a busy social calendar. It isn’t a place to stop for a night: there are no nightly stays, the lake is 12 minutes away, and many winter rentals need a three- to six-month commitment.

Havasu RV Resort is a gated community of 397 owner-held RV lots, built in 2005 on the north side of Lake Havasu City and run by its owners association. About 15% of owners rent out their lots by the week or month, so a stay here means renting a specific lot rather than booking a campsite.

Best for

  • Snowbirds who want one lot for a month or the whole winter.
  • RVers who want a social calendar: golf, bocce, cards, classes and a weekly band.
  • Class A and fifth-wheel owners who like concrete pads and tidy, quiet grounds.
  • Anyone who’d rather be away from the lake’s party scene but still 12 minutes from it.

Consider this

  • There are no nightly stays and no online booking; you rent an owner’s lot.
  • It isn’t on the lake; the water and the London Bridge are about 12 minutes away.
  • Many winter rentals need three to six months, and some lots allow only Class A rigs.
  • RVs need 25 ft of living space and must be 10 years old or newer, or pass an exterior inspection.
